Dangerous Mind(1995)

Plot:

Michelle Pfeiffer is a retired U.S. Marine after she retired she went to teaching.

first she thought she’ll be just a substitute teacher but was offered with a full time teaching

Her first day wasn’t good because of Emilio Being a total jerk to her.

she walked out & talk to his friendzone friend.

after a few day she reads some book how to handle naughty kids.

then she came back to the room & start talking & everybody got an A+ they just need to keep it.

After a week of participating with her they all go to an amusement park and they all have fun! but then again their principal was acknowledged of the doing, so they talked about it that her doing is not right or it’s wrong.

but she just said that she was invited by the kids to join them.

But she was who pay for all of them.

Then she gave each one of them a Poetry by Bob Dylan they were all sighing. but then again she invented a new way so the class would listen to her each one who recite gets a Chocolate from her. so everybody wants to participate so they can have a chocolate.

after it she made a homework for them to find a meaning like of Bob Dylan’s poetry with Thomas Dylan’s poetry.

They all participated all of them went to the library to search for it.

But only 1 group got the right answer it was Renoly Santiago’s group who got the correct poetry, So they got a date with Ms. Michelle Pfeiffer. but the two other members were busy so they can’t go. only Ronely came with a Stylish Clothes. Before eating Ronely told her teacher that he needed money to pay for his clothes because he bought it to Thief, He needs to pay the thief tomorrow so the thief won’t kill him. but he doesn’t have any money so Ms. Michelle lends him $200 to pay his debt. to pay her Ronely needs to graduate just to pay her. they both agreed to that deal.

After the date she brought the take-out to his other student in their local market, after there chit-chat she went home.

& in the next day she noticed her student wasn’t there. the one who’s working for the local market.

So she was so worried about her she went to her house & talk with her after minutes of talking she said she was pregnant & she needs to go somewhere so she knows what to do if the baby comes out. She already made the decision to stop going to school, Ms. Michelle was quite confused but they went out & they talked about it. How did she got pregnant etc.

After it Ms. Michelle went to his other student, Two of her student is always absent, they were brothers. but when she went to there house their mother went out & talked bad words with her, saying that her children won’t be going to school anymore because school is just a waste of time.

So she just went home & Rest, The next day Emilio & Her Girlfriend was having a conversation then suddenly her Girlfriend told to Ms. Michelle that Emilio’s enemy was release from jail & was hunting him.

First Emilio’s plan is Kill him first or be killed by him but Ms. Michelle persuade him to go & Sleep at her house. In that night they’ve talked about his enemy & Ms. Michelle advice Emilio to go to his school & report about it.

But in the morning Emilio was gone, so Ms. Michelle Panic. She went to the school’s office in a hurry asking Mr. Courtney if Emilio went there, Mr. Courtney said yes but he sent Emilio out because he didn’t knock, So Ms. Michelle went mad & slams the door during class she can’t stop thinking about Emilio’s Safety then a knock in the door occurred it was her fellow teacher telling that Emilio’s was found dead & was shot. her face was all red & trying to stop crying but when she went back to the class she told the class that Emilio was killed. Emilio’s Girlfriend Burst in tears same with Ms. Michelle.

After Emilio’s Death Ms. Michelle was losing her interest in teaching because she didn’t do anything to stop the death of her student Emilio.

After days of thinking, she said to the class that it was her last year of teaching there. all of his student went tantrum & start asking her question. Her student were all sad & was stopping her to quit her job but her class changed her mind to teach again in the same school.

At the end her student the one who got pregnant went back to their class & was bothered because Ms. Michelle was leaving because of her & others.

At the end Ms. Michelle stayed for the sake of the class & the students that she changed.

Thoughts:

it conveys that even those youth who distrust authority and devalue

traditional society will positively respond to a committed, expressed belief

in their potential. Dr. A.G. Miller, professor of history of the African-American

religious experience at Fuller Theological Seminary Summer Institute, says

that “Dangerous Minds” supports the positive belief that “kids will rise to the

level of expectation.” He further says, “teaching is not just about rote

memory.

Diction:

They’ve used the English & Spanish Language.

They revealed the characters little by little & in the way they talk.

Everything was right & perfect every character was perfect for the role.

Music:

The Dialogue was quite explicit for some child. but if you have an open mind it will be nothing.

they’ve shown some real life words that you’ll hear in the street.

Musicality was being modern, because rap is rising in their time.

Gangster Paradise was the Theme song

They say I got ta learn, but nobody’s here to teach me,
If they cant understand it, how can they reach me?

Someone tells him to learn but there is nobody who wants to teach him coz he’s black & Gangster. people is so scared of him.

The song is about his life & struggle.

I can’t relate to the song because i was raised with a good family :)

Spectacle:

When Michelle Pfeiffer changed all of his student.

from being a jerks that doesn’t listen to a class that respect her & listens to her.

Re-met Friends which makes our Friendship more stronger :)
Last but not the Least Ending this year with a BOOOOM with Family & Friends :)))))
